With over 20 years of experience in both academic research and industrial innovation, Dr. Mehdi Shirmohammadi is a globally recognized figure in the field of filtration and clean air technologies.

He holds a Ph.D. in Textile Chemistry and Fiber Science, and has published numerous peer-reviewed articles, as well as multiple registered patents in advanced filtration and respiratory protection.

Throughout his career, he has:

• Led and advised filtration manufacturing plants in countries like the UAE, Turkey, and Oman
• Designed and conducted professional training programs for engineers and technicians across the Middle East
• Served as technical and production advisor for several multinational filtration companies
• Participated in leading global exhibitions as both an exhibitor and technical delegate — across Europe, the Americas, and Asia

Dr. Shirmohammadi is currently the official Ambassador of the World Filtration Association (WFA)

and plays an active role in connecting science with industry on an international level.

He has also worked for over 8 years in the field of respiratory masks, particularly in standardization, R&D, and production for both industrial and medical-grade products.

Today, he leads Termeh Filtration Technologies as a full-time executive based in Dubai,

bringing together expertise, ethics, and innovation to promote sustainable clean air solutions.
